W HY DOES SHANE RIDE WITH A HELMET?
Shane Proctor topped his first sheep at the tender age of 3. He soon followed that up, learning to ride calves and later on steers. By the age of 16 he was competing in all 6 rodeo events in high school.

WHO IS SHANE RELATED TO?
Shane's wife Jessi is the sister of PBR rider JB Mauney & daughter of steer wrestler Tim Mauney. Jessi is a fixture on the PBR circuit where she can be seen rooting for her husband & brother JB.
